A Study of the European Society of Biomodulation and Chemotherapy

Participating Institutions

A core of 5 microbiological laboratories in Germany (Leipzig), Poland (Warzawa), Scotland (Aberdeen) and the Slovak Republic (Bratislava) have been screening all specimens tested for the occurence of alert organisms as defined in the study protocol since January 1, 1999.

The participating institutions are:

National Cancer Institute, Department of Medical Microbiology, Bratislava, Slovak Republic

St. Elizabeth Cancer Institute, Department of Clinical Pharmacology, Bratislava, Slovak Republic

Institute for Medical Microbiology and Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases, Leipzig, Germany

Sera and Vaccins Central Research Laboratory, Warszawa, Poland

It is planned to extend the number of laboratories as the study progresses.
